We’re Acorn Cafe, located in beautiful Healdsburg, right by the plaza. We’re big fans of micro-moments of unexpected culinary delights; our menu is full of foods you know and love, with some whimsical-delicious curveballs. We promise excellent service, a welcoming environment, and unforgettable French toast.

WE LOVE BREAKFAST AND LUNCH.

Swing by on your lunch break, bring your besties for a brunch date, or feed your pancake-obsessed three-year-old (no, we do not charge extra for an unholy amount of maple syrup).

We’re into:

playing with your food,
trusting our guests,
‘‘French toast for the table, please,’’
natural light, families of all sizes,
supporting the Healdsburg community,
seasonal produce,
grab-and-go picnics in The Plaza,
sides of fries.

Acorn Cafe is rooted in the Healdsburg community, both in the families it loves to serve and the organizations it helps support.

Inspired by the lively brunch spots of Australia, Adler wanted to bring his love for breakfast to Healdsburg. Acorn Cafe is a gathering place for families, friends, and anyone who wants a little escape in their day.

Adler has cooked in luxury hotels for more than two decades, and at over a dozen different places globally, most recently serving as Director of Culinary at the W Resort in Bali, Indonesia - Semiyak, for two years. Adler also worked at The Ritz-Carlton for over 15 years, including serving as Executive Sous Chef in Half Moon Bay, California and Banquet Chef at the Grand Cayman property, along with opening resorts from New York to Australia.

CHEF/OWNER

Beryl Adler

In 2021, Adler and his wife, Ally, moved back to her hometown of Ukiah, California. There, Adler partnered with the owner of Black Oak Coffee to open a new location in Healdsburg. The location opened its doors the same day the Adlers welcomed their daughter, Mia, into the world: a clear sign that Healdsburg was the place for his family to grow.

After moving all around the world for much of his adult life, Adler’s grateful to be putting down roots in Healdsburg, where he serves on the Board of Directors for Healdsburg Chamber of Commerce, and on the Community Outreach committee for Healdsburg Forever, a community endowment that disperses funds to over a dozen nonprofits in Healdsburg.

Black Oak Coffee gave his family roots in Healdsburg; this restaurant is Adler’s “acorn” from the Black Oak tree.
